| Art can provide more than fun for the special needs student. It can be an enriching learning experience. Concepts that are difficult to teach come much more easily with hands-on art projects. |

The activities included have actually been tested with blind and visually impaired
youngsters. The material presented is being compiled into a handbook to be published for Teachers of the Visually Impaired. It is a three hour, hands-on workshop, but can be adapted for other formats.
